Who We Are
Welcome to the Round Rock Area Serving Center. We are a Texas non-profit corporation, also known as the Serving Center, which carries out a community-wide mission of churches, other organizations and individuals serving human needs in the City of Round Rock and surrounding areas. We are here to serve those in need in our community.
Our Service Overview
Services provided include a food pantry, clothing & furniture vouchers, Computers for Kids, Community Gardens, Keep Round Rock Warm, The Volunteer Center, alternative loan program, financial assistance (utilities, rent, prescriptions, transportation, and temporary lodging).
Daily bread is offered in our lobby to all who visit the Serving Center and our shelves our stocked with bread and pastry/treats from local partners like HEB.
“Treasures Charity Resale Shop & Boutique” is a clothing and furniture thrift store that is open to the general public.
Donations of clothing, books, furniture, and appliances are needed.

In 2019, the Serving Center assisted a total of 47,085 under-privileged, low-income people and families-in-crisis from 12,461 households with food and financial assistance. The food pantry filled a total of 11,748 food vouchers, and the total food distribution programs served 19,503 households. The food pantry processed 1,608,082 lbs of food. A total of $792,338 was spent on client services in 2019.

For over 30+ years the Round Rock Area Serving Center has been a resource in our community – reaching families and individuals in crisis and serving their needs with assistance, care and support.

Footprints The Footprints Ministry’s mission is to serve children dealing with grief in a Christian based environment that is safe and accepting of all emotions and to help the child identify and begin to understand and deal with the emotions regarding the loss. Read More
