Welcome to the Round Rock Area Serving Center. We are a Texas 501(c)(3) non-profit corporation, also known as the Serving Center, which carries out a community-wide mission of churches, other organizations and individuals serving human needs in the City of Round Rock and surrounding areas. We are here to serve those in need in our community.

Our Mission

A Helping Hand for Neighbors & Food for the Hungry

For over 35+ years the Round Rock Area Serving Center has been a resource in our community – reaching families and individuals in crisis and serving their needs with assistance, care and support.

Our Service Overview

Services provided include a food pantry, Amazon home delivery program, clothing & furniture vouchers, Keep Round Rock Warm, community gardens, The Volunteer Center, a charity resale store, Computers for Kids, and financial assistance for utilities, rent, prescriptions, payday loan assistance, transportation, and temporary lodging.

Daily bread is offered in our lobby to all who visit the Serving Center and our shelves our stocked with bread and pastry/treats from local partners like HEB.

“Treasures Charity Resale Shop & Boutique” is a clothing and furniture thrift store that is open to the general public.
Clients shop with vouchers for clothing and furniture. Sales revenue supports the food pantry and social service programs.

Our Impact

In 2022, the Serving Center assisted a total of 80,401 people and the caseload increased by 39%. The food pantry processed 1,542,762 lbs of food. A total of $1,096,014 was spent on client assistance.
